Sadly, most people don't and will comment based on ignorance of the fact. But I blame Capcom. They pretty much screwed it up for everybody with their DLC unlock codes. Now everyone with DLC less than 10MB is gonna be accused of cheating.
I think the price is kind of steep though.
What's it gonna take for JRPGs on the big platforms to score this high? If you're a JRPG fan, looks like DS is the place to be right now.
Please read the article before going into attack mode. Information is your friend.
@kesvalk
Perfection is HARD. Seriously, what are you smoking talking about expert mode at 100% on ANY song is 'easy'. Dante Must Die is probably easier than Ikaruga (kudos to that guy btw) but does that make it easy by default?
Yeah, Spoony you should chill. That comment sounded so full of anger.
Take a breath or something. This is just gaming. Hate to see you lose it over something so utterly meaningless in the grand scheme of things.
This is how it'll be until MS gets its first party act together.
^^E3 itself was an ad. That's what E3 is for, to talk up the big things in gaming and draw interest. This is a recap which of course restates that information.
Wii and PS3 are due to get the same treatment. If it's an 'ad' as you say everyone will get their time in the limelight.
"360/Sony fans are worse" is fanboy thinking. Both are incredibly dense.
Any fanboy of anything actually. Not restricted to games.
Ouch is right.
As for punishement it seems like simple math. You have 'thousands' threatening to quit and 'hundreds' reaping the rewards of a cheat. The smaller group clearly deserves punishment so...punish them. 20 days of 'time out' really is a slap on the wrist...
^^^Haha. Heart attacks would ensue over most of those.
My guess is exclusive DLC of some sort.
Awesome stuff. Ironically, I've lived in LA my whole life and never once thought about attending.
Anywhoo nice to see some journalists show real passion for gaming. Have fun you guys.
^^^Maybe.
New and different rarely provokes great sales. It seems if you want great sales, make another WWII shooter or a game with lots of gore and boobs.
I hope people will support the game and give it a chance. Luckily it looks excellent graphically. And as shallow and wrong as it sounds, the graphics will probably garner more interest than the content from the casual observer.
"No, The Gameboy Advanced is Not Dead"
Haha.
Great handheld, but fix your title.
Yeah, the criticism and desertion was totally deserved at first. Probably could have been considered false advertising even since even box features weren't in the game. I know I would have been angry, and I know a few gamers who were quite annoyed.
But games change, especially MMOs. So good on them sticking with it and fighting for success.
Contemporary vs. Retro
There are distinctions, but it's not like you're a worse gamer if you didn't beat the original Super Mario Bros with ★★ lives.
There are plenty of hard games made in later generations, but older games are probably some of the hardest ever. Specifically because they were frickin' inconvenient as hell twitch fests. No save points, no check points, no regenerating health, and (in RPGs) permadeath. You may have heard these types of games deservingl...
Three Kingdoms is their WWII, apparently.
^^That's exactly it with me. It's like going to the arcade in your own home. Only they force you to buy the game first before you insert your change. >.>
Maybe we'll get it, maybe not. One thing Blizz did that annoyed me was put out WoW (a great MMO) then forget about everything else for 6 years. Bioware isn't like that. They're still working on ME2, ME3, Dragon Age, and "another unannounced next generation game".
And let's not forget that TOR takes place about 300 years after KOTOR so they're definitely leaving the door open. I just hope they decide to DO SOMETHING with the opportunity one day.
Does the Wii support patching? No joke. As incredible as Beth's games are, they almost always need mandatory support. I hope Beth can step up its QA for whatever comes.
I don't know what that knight's doing to that kid, but I think we need to stop him.
Anyway, go Team Ico. The few glimpses of outside look spectacular. I hope a good portion of the game takes place out in the open like SotC and less in closed off places like Ico. Although that's hardly a deal breaker where Team Ico is concerned.
